| In 1953, Lester E. Watson designed the world famous Portable KitchenŽ outdoor cooker. For more than 10 years, the Portable KitchenŽ cooker was made in Tyler, Texas. The cooker gained international stature with thousands being exported worldwide. Order the replacement hinged grate and associated bottom charcoal grate (as a set). Replacement Hinged Grid (14 1/8" x 21 1/2") plus Replacement Charcoal Grate VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Over the years, Portable Kitchen has produced many different sizes of cookers. Today they make only one size cooker and thus have only one size replacement hinged grids and charcoal grate (sold as a set). If your Portable Kitchen cooker is not the correct size (shown above), we recommend contacting a sheet metal company and having them cut you some "expanded metal" to fit your size cooker.
