The 701 Temperature Detective BBQ Thermometer is the finest in high tech outdoor cooking allowing for complete control of your outdoor cooking. This breakthrough offers the ultimate in cooking convenience. Simply place the temperature probe in the meat and the transmitter outside of the pit. The transmitter then send the meat's temperature up to 75 feet away to the remote display. Relax in your easy chair in front of the ball game and know exactly how your meal is coming along! Who would have believed? The base unit can be mounted on partition or wall and also has a fold out stand making it easy to set on a counter for easy viewing. In addition, you can have additional transmitters. The remote sensor updates the base whenever the temperature has changed. An alarm may be selected to alert when the meat is done.
Please Note: The unit is designed to read temperatures up to and including 392°. The probe can handle temperatures of 500° or less.
