Shipping Information
SHIPPING GENERAL: The Barbecue Store uses FedEx Ground shipping to 50 states because it is less expensive and more reliable than UPS. Occasionally, we may use UPS (to the lower 48 states) or other shippers to deliver your order. Only on occasion will your order arrive in separate shipments. We try to ship complete orders but occasionally you may receive some items with the balance being back ordered.
PAYPAL SHIPPING: The Barbecue Store gladly accepts all valid PayPal orders. Due to theft of PayPal account information however, we will only ship to the address of record on the PayPal account. If you want to ship to another address, send as a gift or use any other address, please submit a valid credit card with the proper billing address. We regret this situation but it is for your safety and our loss prevention.
TRACK YOUR ORDER ON-LINE: The Barbecue Store utilizes an on-line order tracking program. When we make a change to your order, - any of 30 different functions - those changes are reflected immediately on our web site. To review the latest status of your order, simply click HERE. You will need your order number and zip code. Be sure to use the dashes in your Internet order numbers. Order information is retained for 60 days.
EXPRESS / OVERNIGHT / 2ND DAY SHIPPING: The Barbecue Store ships the same day for all express/overnight/2nd day shipping if received by 2:00 CST (Central Standard Time). Should you place an express order after such time, please give us a call (888-789-0650) to see if it is still possible ship your order the same day. We will certainly do our best, but our express pick-up comes early. Most of the time, the shipping charges indicated when ordering will be accurate. FedEx ships express packages based upon container size. Therefore, occasionally, the item(s) ordered will be larger than expected and additional charges must be applied. We will contact you if additional shipping is required. Note: The day the order ships does not count as a shipping day. Note: Express shipping does not include Saturday delivery.
DROP SHIPPING ITEMS: At times, your order may include an item which we have drop shipped directly from the manufacturer or distributor. Such items will be shipped using their customary shipping methods and you may not be notified of actual shipping dates. If this is important, please email us and we will obtain and send you a tracking number. If timing is critical, please also call so we can verify shipping dates. Different suppliers take differing times to get their orders processed.
Shipping via Truck:
Some of our shipment require the items to be delivered via large truck.
No Saturday deliveries. If you cannot accommodate a moving sized truck to your address,alternate plans will be made which may result in additional charges.
If we are advised by the truck line that extra shipping charges will apply, then we will advise you prior to shipping so you can make the decision to pay the additional amount and continue with the order or cancel it.
Keep in mind that you may need extra people to help you unload your order. Some drivers will help unload the order and others will not. Make sure you also have a dolly to help move the product to your property. Orders are not as timely as UPS and FedEx. As such, you should be patient and we will get the order to you as quickly as possible. Feel free to call if you believe it is taking too long to arrive. You should be notified of delivery 1-2 days prior to delivery. You must be in attendance at the delivery. Note all missing items (compare to the delivery bill the driver will give you. Note any damages also. All irregularities must be noted before you sign the delivery ticket. You may note the problems on the delivery ticket before you sign it. It is also a good idea to have the driver also sign the exceptions.
Should there be excessive shipping damage to the box, do not accept delivery and then contact us immediately. We will then ship you a new shipment of your order and deal with the shipping company on the original shipment.
ESTIMATED SHIPPING TIMES: Most orders are processed and shipped the same day with others being shipped within 24 hours if there are no back ordered items. Click HERE to get an estimate of when you might expect your package. Remember, the day we ship your item does not count in the estimate. BACK ORDERS: Should your order include one or more back ordered items, we attempt to notify you by email as soon as possible letting you know when we expect to be able to ship. Occasionally, we will send partial orders of the items we have. We will not charge you for the items not sent.
ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATES: All orders processed and shipped should be received within 1 to 6 days depending upon availability, location and shipping companies. Occasionally, a drop ship item may take a day or two longer. FedEx Ground delivery dates are different depending upon if the shipment is to a home or business. Please note the differences:
FedEx Home Delivery Days: Tuesday through Saturday
FedEx Business Delivery Days: Monday through Friday
Note: The day the order ships does not count as a shipping day.
Note: Express shipping does not include Saturday delivery.
Please take these delivery days into account when placing your orders.
ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES: This Time Chart offers an estimate of how many days it takes to get a package from our location to you in business days via FedEx Ground. Color coded maps are for illustration purposes only. Actual transit times may vary. Transit times shown are in business days. For specific transit times, please use the FedEx transit time calculator. We do not ship to locations in Canada.
Bright Pink=1 day
Aqua = 2 days
Burnt Orange= 3 days
Lime Green = 4 days
Purple = 5 days
Yellow = 6 days
Dark Blue = 7 days or more
Please keep in mind that it may take us a day or two to process your order. Please call us if the delivery date is critical.
NOTIFICATION OF TRACKING NUMBERS: If you provide your email address and the order is being shipped by us via FedEx (ground or air), you will be advised by email with a tracking number. Some of our UPS drop ship suppliers will send us tracking numbers.
INTERNATIONAL ADDRESSES: Reluctantly, we no longer deliver to these locations. The simple reason is that on just about every order, and in particular the heavy orders, the carriers managed to destroy or loose packages over long distances.
APO/FPO ADDRESSES: We do this as a service to our service men and women. Please Note: These addresses require a trip to the Post Office which we do not do every day. If you are willing to be patient, please fill out the order form with the proper information, select FedEx Ground Shipping and we will get it there as soon as we can. Again, please be patient with this shipping method.
P.O. BOX ADDRESSES: Reluctantly, we no longer deliver to these locations.
