Hard Anodized The raised rail design delivers steakhouse searing every time while preventing charring flare-ups. The bottom of the GrillGrates blocks most flame and flare-ups from the food while allowing the unwanted fat to be removed via the elliptical fat-draining holes. The good juices sizzle just below the food not in the bottom of your grill. Juices and flavor are seared in. GrillGrates allow you to cook a much wider range of food than ever before on the grill - without foil. Grill vegetables, fish, pizza, fruit, and lean meats such as boneless, skinless chicken and turkey burgers. The Hard Anodized sufrace can be wire brushed (and cleans easily) and handles heat up to 1200F. The GrateTool makes turning, handling and serving food easier.
