The APS (ALL PURPOSE STOVE), by CampChef, is a collapsible, charcoal-fired, portable, lightweight, durable, efficient and versatile unit, designed with quality in mind. Any type of cooking is easy and fun, with this new and unique unit. Now you can fry eggs, braise meat, roast a prime rib, steam vegetables, deep-fry fish and chips, cook stew, chili or spaghetti sauce, boil a lobster, stir-fry your favorite oriental dish, barbecue a prime sirloin, or bake bread. You will be able to do all this on your patio or in a camping environment. Use your imagination! The APS was designed to provide you with a choice. The APS collapses into a 16" x 16" x 5" space making it small enough to fit into the smallest car, boat or camper. Due to the low center of gravity and large footprint, the APS is virtually impossible to tip over. The APS is made of Heavy Gauge Metal. (20 Gauge) and heavier metals are used for longer product life. With proper care your APS will provide you with excellent service for many years. The design provides for a very sturdy cooking surface. It will easily support anything that you intend to cook. The unit has been tested to support over 250 pounds when in the expanded normal cooking posture. External Skin Temperature is minimized and although the unit does get hot on the outside skin, the unique design and shape of the APS will not enable searing temperatures to be reached on the outside body surfaces. Tabletop cooking, even on a plastic tablecloth, is possible in that the heat generated below the unit is minimal. The radiant Heat from the internal fire chamber is minimized due to the shape and design of the chamber. Although every effort has been taken to provide a safe cooking system, it is recommended that small children avoid touching the outside surface of the unit when in operation
