Georgia Fatwood are strips of wood super saturated (but dry & clean to the touch) with resin or "gum" from the Longleaf Pine tree. This fatwood comes from the center (or heartwood) of old felled trees where pine sap was collected a hundred years ago. These stumps, when cut, sized and split make your 100% safe, all natural wood fire starter.
