The grate is 3mm in thickness and has a 14 1/2 inch (165 sq in) round grilling surface. It has top and bottom air vents to control the temperature as well as an easy to use Bakelite handle with steel locking ring. It even comes with a locking device made for easy traveling and weights less than 10 pounds.
