It has a sealed lid to keep the juices in, which means there’s no need to add any water to keep the meat moist and flavorful. The flat top design provides constant even basting. It has two cooking racks and an adjustable heat control for added versatility. It’s electric and practically foolproof. It'll work for hamburgers, but its better for roasts, turkeys, briskets, fish and vegetables. Near the bottom is a 1250W heating element that gets to about 400ºF (200ºC) with the variable heat control set on "high."
