1. Original Raised Rail Design
The raised rail design delivers steakhouse searing every time while preventing charring flare-ups. The bottom of the GrillGrates blocks most flame and flare-ups from the food while allowing the unwanted fat to be removed via the elliptical fat-draining holes. The good juices sizzle just below the food not in the bottom of your grill. Juices and flavor are seared in. GrillGrates allow you to cook a much wider range of food than ever before on the grill - without foil. Grill vegetables, fish, pizza, fruit, and lean meats such as boneless, skinless chicken and turkey burgers.

2. RealEase® Porcelain Enamel Nonstick Coating
RealEase® Porcelain Enamel Nonstick Coating is a breakthrough for the grill. Just warm the GrillGrates up and wipe them down. The RealEase coating cleans easily and will be smooth, clean, and continuously keeps food from sticking. Never before has there been a safe, high heat tolerant nonstick surface for grilling. Cook more delicate foods and clean up is as simple as a paper towel, sponge or even the dishwasher. Periodic cleaning of the grates is suggested to maximize the properties of the RealEase coating. Most times, clean up is just warming the GrillGrates up and wiping them down with a paper towel. Do Not Use High Heat to Burn Off the GrillGrates. Do not use a Wire Brush to clean the GrillGrates. For gas grills, warm up at Medium or Low to desired cooking temperature and simply wipe the grates down. With charcoal, wipe down as GrillGrates pre-heat.
