For outdoor (or even indoor) cooking, use this 'instant read' thermometer to achieve the most tender and moist tasting meat every time, thus avoiding over-cooking. Using time and temperature alone seldom delivers desired results. By use this thermometer you can be assured proper cooking every time! Simply insert the probe into the center portion of the meat when you are approximately 3/4th of the finished cooking time and periodically thereafter. You will know when to remove the meat once the temperature reaches the desired number of degrees.
